In Bettag's debut solo exhibition, "Vanitas Baby," Frey Norris Gallery will present a selection several-fold larger and more intellectually intricate than anything this young artist has thus far produced or exhibited. A large installation comprised of dozens of sculptures of her "Little Boo" character will occupy the two story skylight area. More than twenty unique paintings and other wall hung media will fill the gallery with aggressive neon colors, sexually charged imagery and a strangely transgressive innocence in this exciting first look at an emerging San Francisco visionary.
